If you already own a UFAF Charter School (CNS and/or Krav Maga) but do not wish to teach BJJ or offer a dedicated UFAF BJJ-Certified Program, the UFAF BJJ Practitioner-Level Program may be the perfect fit. This program gives you and your students access to the UFAF BJJ curriculum, allowing everyone to begin training in the techniques. Please note that this level requires the use of a unique logo and marketing materials to indicate that the school operates at the practitioner level, rather than as a certified program, and is not led by a UFAF BJJ-Certified Instructor.
UFAF BJJ Practitioner-Level Benefits:
• Curriculum Access: Gain full access to the UFAF BJJ curriculum for you and your students.
• Additional Tuition Options: Option to charge additional fees for dedicated BJJ training sessions.
• Belt Testing: Students can schedule belt tests with an authorized UFAF BJJ Black Belt after passing the video pre-test via UFAF University (pre-test fee applies).
• Stripe Tests: Students can earn stripes on their belts by passing video tests through UFAF University (fees apply).
• Instructor Certification: You and your students can enroll in the UFAF BJJ Instructor Certification Program at any point, as long as your territory is still available.
How to Launch a UFAF BJJ Practitioner-Level School:
1. Confirm Territory Availability: Contact the emails listed at the beginning of this document to ensure your territory is open.
2. Set Up Your Account: Once approved, create your account at UFAF University and begin the $200 monthly fee.
3. Start Training: Begin training, and when ready, you and your students can schedule the online pre-tests and stripe tests (fees apply) through UFAF University. Successful candidates may then schedule in-person tests with an authorized UFAF BJJ Black Belt at no extra charge.
